Two piece painted and glazed ceramic container in the shape of a man; head section (a) has a bottom stem encircled with cork that fits into a hole in the top of the body (b) section; the container is painted in colours of red, green, brown, maroon, white and blue; the figure wears a red open jacket with a green dotted undergarment, a bow tie, white collar, loose trousers, brown sandals and carries a walking stick and a blue bottle; the head has black hair and facial features in a comical grimace; 'Made in Japan' stamped on base.
