Stoneware; wheel thrown; bulbous shape that narrows at the neck and has a small opening in the top with a small flange; dark brown coloured high gloss over glaze with a reddish brown underglaze, the over glaze is lighter around the base and gets darker towards the top; raised mark on one side that looks like a piece of looped string.
