White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a green tied ribbon and floral motif garland design on upper surface of the rim (underglaze transfer). In the center of the well is an oval with the words "Newmarket Hotel/ New Denver.B.C." along the perimeter and an image of the hotel building in the center of the oval.
