White clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wide maroon color band between two thin maroon color bands which run around the rim. A gap in the bands contains the letters "H E" intertwined. The maker and distributor's marks are on the bottom. Impressed into the bottom is a crown and "1L"?
