White clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wide mid-green band outlined by a thin band running around the perimeter of the platter on the upper surface. A gap in the banding contains an oval shaped garter design which bears the words "King Edward Hotel" Inside the garter are the words "Enderby B.C.". On the bottom are the maker and distributor's
marks in green.
