Made of wood. Used for shipping containers of flake lye made by the E.W. Gillette Company Limited of Toronto, Ontario. Printed label on one end of box:"Four Dozen Pure Flake Lye". Label has a picture of a round tin of flake lye which features a drawing of a lion with a palm tree in the background. Printed label on the other end of the box: "Wilson Bros. Victoria, BC". Wooden box has tongue and groove corners.
