Paper; machine printed; folded in three sections, the firstsection has a coloured image of a lake with trees with a white and blue coloured patterned boarder, machine printed in blue coloured ink is,"INDEX UNDER PICTURE", the picture lifts up where there is an index for recipies in the calendar; "SAM KEE AND SON, FRUIT - VEGETABLES-GROCERIES, 143 MOSS St. Victoria, Telephone 383-7033", on the reverse is a beef cooking chart, second section has different types of beef cuts, the third section has 12 paper pages with boxes for days of the week, the reverse of each page has different types of cooking, carving tips and recipes, the back cover has a "Maple Leaf Meats Cooking Chart" and on the reverse is a , "Maple Leaf Poultry Cooking Chart".
