Greeting Cards
Three small greeting cards. Cards are pencil drawings of Victoria and Vancouver scenes by the artist, Edward Goodall. Cards were sent as Christmas cards from Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Palmer of Victoria, BC to their former sewing lady, Miss Minnekeer ("Minty"), who lived in Eastbourne, New Zealand at that time. Miss Minnekeer gave the cards to her friends, the Misses Christie, who in turn gave them to the donor. One Christmas card had the date 1923 on it. The inside of one of the cards has been cut out and pasted to the paper backing of the frame. It reads: "A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Mr. & Mrs. R.H. Palmer, 1580 York Place, Victoria, British Columbia".
