Plastic candy container, "Golden Mouse Tub (Crunchy Candy)", purchased at Fairway Market in Victoria for $9.88. Gold coloured with gold mice or rats of all sizes clustered around top. Has red diamond on front with chinese writing. Used to celebrate Year of the Rat, Chinese New Year, typical of those displayed in restaurants and homes. Illustrates celebration through food of the Chinese Lunar New Year in the Year of the 150th anniversary of B.C. Chinatowns.
