Beaded Dress
Worn by Margaret MacNicol who was married to Saanich Reeve Robert MacNicol. Margaret wore the dress to a royal visit celebration where she danced with the Duke of York and the Mayor's wife danced with the Prince of Wales. Ivan Sayers advises that it would have been worn with soft white crepe-de-chine underdress or slip.
