Similar in style to the Chinese Cheongsam; constructed from a black satin fabric printed with a Chinoiserie themed print in colours of green, white, gold, blue and orange; shaped by bust darts and double vertical seams both front and back; capped sleeves and body cut as one-piece; machine and hand-stitched; unlined; shoulder seams; front opening standing self-lined collar with a modified keyhole neckline; side seam inverted pleats at the hemline; left side seam centre opening with a zipper embossed 'Lightning'; one beige Chinese style loop with knot closure at the front collar opening.
