Dance accessory called a phakee, worn with the Giddha Ghagrah costume; turned wooden handle painted bright pink with a dark green coloured end; from the top of the handle is a 2 cm dia X 30 Le wooden dowel painted pink and green, the dowel twists around, the handle is stationary; a wire frame is bent in a circle with the ends embedded in the top and bottom of the dowel and projects outward from the side of the dowel; filling the inside of this wire frame yarn is woven in a geometric design in bright pink and green; a 6.5 cm wide, white polyester frill edges the outside of the wire frame.
