Herta Gertz came to Canada in the early 1950s. With husband , established B.C.Ceramics, in Vancouver in the mid 1950s. production included work with experimental glazes and abstract Sgraffito designs.Submitted abstract designs for mosaics to German publication Keramik am Bau, 1950s.
