Uniform Hat
A: tall cylindrical shape; white satin fabric trimmed around the top and bottom edge with two narrow bands of gold ribbon and bright blue trim stitched with cotton thread over and onto heavy cardstock; a front visor covered in bright red coloured satin fabric; centre front of the hat is a large red maple leaf shaped patch with the 'Victoria British Columbia' machine emboirdered into the centre; blue cloth chin strap. B: tassel, short wooden dowel that is inserted into the top front of the hat, attached to the top of the dowel is a large knob covered in silver metal scales, attached around the base of the knob is a tassel of long off-white threads that hang down until they touch the hat.
