Short brown silk taffeta (?) fitted jacket with extended box pleats placed at centre back waistline; lined with cotton; hand and machine sewn; shaped with 4 darts and 7 seams; all interior seams are overcast and include 9 casings for bones (missing); short banded collar; narrow 2-piece shaped sleeves gathered at elbow with a slightly gathered sleeve cap; shaped cuff at sleeve edge; 16 buttons with buttonholes at centre front (buttons were replaced see 2010.183.3); matches skirt 2010.183.1.2.
