Stoneware pot; wheel thrown; light tone brown coloured overglaze, except for on the foot of the base with is unglazed; spherical shaped body with four small handles around the shoulders with a twisted piece of tan coloured string threaded through the holes of the handles; the lid on the top is sealed with a strip of tan coloured fabric; on one side is, "ZHEJIANG CHINA" in raised lettering and on the other side is raised Chinese characters.
