(A) Straight sided jar and (B) flat topped lid; coarse ware; brown glazed exterior sides, interior and lid top; unglazed along jar rim and underside of lid; swirled glaze on base; round paper label adhered to lid; label includes: English text - "Tungoon Genuine Maltose", Chinese text, and lithographed design with a city view, wheat sheaves and sun motif in colours of red, yellow, green and blue; mark impressed on base within diamond shape.
