A: white coloured stoneware; wheel thrown; dark brown coloured high gloss glaze on the interior and exterior, except for around the edge on the top which is unglazed; swirled glaze on base; mark impressed on base. B: white coloured stoneware lid; dark brown coloured glaze on the exterior, interior is unglazed.
