Wine Label
Made of glossy paper, not the in-expensive brown paper listed in Schreiner's "The British Columbia Wine Companion" as belonging to the early years (1966-1973) of Casabello's labels. Probably indicates a date after 1973 for the label (though Schreiner does not categorically state that no glossy labels were made earlier). Listed in the LCB price lists # 30, October 01, 1968, and # 34, June 01, 1972. Listed in the # 30 listing under Canadian Wine; a 26 oz. bottle sold for $1.95. Listed in # 34 under Canadian Table Wine (Crackling-Rose); the sweetness code was 03 and a 26 oz. bottle sold for $1.90, a 13 oz bottle for $1.15.
