Described as 'a blend of white and red sparkling wines' on the label. The name 'Fuddle Duck' was inspired by a phrase coined by then Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau: accused of uttering an obscenity in the House of Commons, Trudeau protested that he had merely said 'fuddle duddle'. Listed in the LCB price list # 34, June 01, 1972 under Canadian Table Wine (Sparkling). The sweetness code was 06; a 26 oz. bottle sold for $1.60.
