Arthur Ernest Pacey served for four years with the Royal North West Mounted Police prior to joining the Canadian Expeditionary Force in May 1918. Pacey joined a CEF cavalry draft from the R.N.W.M.P. and only served in England. The British War Medal is his only entitlement as he did not leave the United Kingdom for service on the frontlines.
