Vertical yellow and blue stripes; disk of brass hanging from the ribbon embossed on both sides; Pioneer Medal with a gold and blue striped ribbon with a clasp. One side has "British Columbia Centennial 71 Pioneer" and the reverse has the B.C. Coat of Arms with the words "Province of British Columbia, Canada."
