Loader and radio operator in the Three Rivers Regiment (Tank), part of the 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade of the 12th Armoured Regiment. The individual was born (April 6th, 1918), raised, worked and died (January 25th, 2000) in Chilliwack, B.C. Annis enlisted for WW II military service in Vancouver, 15 May 1942, WW II. His unit was involved in the Battle of Ortona, Italy. Tank loses of 60% were not uncommon in that battle.
