Provenance
The 67th Battalion (Western Scots) were formed in April 1920 and proceeded to Britain 1 April 1916. The unit was converted from infantry to a pioneer battalion in May 1916 and served with the Fourth Canadian Division in France and Flanders until 28 April 1917. At that time their personnel were absorbed by the Canadian Corps to provide reinforcements in the field. Subsequently disbanded August 1920 they are perpetuated by the Canadian Scottish Regiment.
