Flat bottom with handpainted, somewhat abstract, organic design of gold, orange flowers in the centre top area; large blue 'stump' in the middle of the plate with blue 'branches'; wide flat rim handpainted with a repeating four-petal 'flower', alternating in orange or gold coloures with stems and blue and gold 'leaves'; plate edge trimmed in gold; red stencill on bottom of a red crown with what looks to be two D' back to back under the crown with a small cross and two dots, above the crown 'Royal Crown Derby England; painter's marks '13 9 2 D' in red on bottom.
