White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a green color transfer image of the hotel building which occurs on the upper surface of the rim in a gap in a dark green band which runs around the inside edge of the rim. On the bottom is a black transfer of the the following. A crown above the word "DURALINE"/super/vitrified/Grindley/Hotelware Co./England/11-68".
