White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration is a green colored, transfer printed border design of geometric and foliage garland elements on upper surface of rim. Also on rim is an open oval banner design on which the words "Royal George Hotel" appear. The words "Vancouver B.C." appear within the banner enclosure. The manufacturers mark on the bottom is also transfer printed and consists of the word "Crescent" above a "C" design and a crescent shape which contains the words "& sons". Below this are the words "England/Truro".
