White clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a mid-green color band on the upper surface, around the perimeter of the plate. A gap in the band contains the green color transfer image of the hotel building with the words "Hotel Quilchena" beneath it. The maker's mark appears on the bottom.
