White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a simple Cobalt blue band on upper surface of rim. Also on rim are the words "The Hume/Nelson.B.C." in Cobalt blue Impressed into bottom is a crown underneath which appear "C.V."/"V" Rust marks on underside of rim.
