On rim: underglaze pattern, transfer printed. Cobalt blue outer and inner bands with ribbon and flower design between bands. Flowers outlined in blue and with pink petals. Special order Beach Hotel transfer on rim. On bottom of plate "Vitrified/ Dunn Bennett's Patent/unchippable surface./Burslem/Rd.N No.656491/England."
