White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a transfer print of the word "Steitz" in black script on the upper surface of the plate near the outer rim. On the bottom is a black transfer of the distributor and contains the following, "Furnished by/Williamson Jenkins Co/Vancouver B.C./Made in England".
