Plate
White or buff clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wide dark-green band and a thin band on the outer portion of the plate rim, with a thin band on the inner edge of the plate well. On the bottom of the plate is the manufacturer's logo which consists of a crown above a lion. the lion is surrounded on the bottom and two sides with a banner which contains the words "NEWPORT POTTERY Co Ltd". below the banner are the words, "BURSLEM/ENGLAND/VITRIFIED".
