Plate
White clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wide dark-green band and a thin one together around the rim of the plate. Inside the banding is a black color transfer printed image of a garter bearing the words "Grand Hotel". Inside the garter are the words "Nelson B.C.". On the bottom of the plate is the name of the maker and the mark of the distributor in black. Glaze is crazed extensively on all surfaces and there is considerable discoloration on all surfaces as a result.
