Plate
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wide mid-blue band on outer portion of rim and a thin blue band on the edge of the plate well. A gap in the thin band contains a maroon color garter with the words "St James Hotel Mar-Del Plata on the garter. On the bottom of the plate is the very elaborate manufacturers logo consisting of a crown atop an oval garter. Flanking the garter are a lion rampant on one side and a unicorn on the other.. below this is a banner with the words "DIEU ET MON DROIT". Below this are the words "THOMAS HUGHES/ENGLAND".
