White clay body with ivory glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wider brown band between two thin brown bands on upper surface inside the rim. A gap in the band contains the brown transfer print of a ring with the name of the inn around the perimeter. In the center of the ring is the image of the inn building. On the bottom of the plate is the logo of the distributor which consists of a ring with a feather located horizontally through the middle of the ring. The ring contains the words "The Pacific Coast Importing Co. Ltd./Vancouver B.C." and the words "The House of Quality" on the feather. Below the logo are the words "Vitrified/Deans Hotel Ware/Burslem Eng". There are craze lines on the upper surface of the plate, both random and concentric.
