A: stoneware; mould formed; hexagonal shaped; small raised opening in the top with a scrolled garland around the shoulders, each side as a relief image of a four season flower; dark tone green coloured over glaze, except for on the base; B: light tan coloured stoneware lid; press mould formed; on the top is a machine printed paper label with, "TUNG CHUN CANNING CO., TRADE MARK, CARGO GINGER IN SYRUP, MADE IN HONG KONG".
