Ginger Pot
Two pound size stoneware; wheel formed; spherical body with a raise opening in the top; all over beige coloured high gloss glaze; hand painted blue coloured bands, two at the top and two at the bottom, in between the two sets of lines are spaced around the body of the pot are abstract flower? designs; around the rim is a unglazed area from when the lid was fired on the pot.
