a-b: pair of flat sandals with closed toe area and open back; toe area constructed of natural coloured woven patterned rush (?) mesh with green cotton (?) under fabric and red fabric bias edging; two vertical coiled covered ropes decorate the toe area; lower band of plaited trim; toe lined in a natural linen/cotton; thick leather (?) sole with visible stitching along edges and centre; insole constructed with a stiff, flat surface; shoes are interchangeable.
