Pair of unfinished small shoes in the style used for Chinese bound feet; hand stitched; pink cotton?/ silk? top section bound with turquoise edging and embroidered with flowers, butterflies and designs; lined; heel area open with raw seams; stiff canvas with raw edges on the shoe bottom is shaped for a raised sole (missing); may have been originally stored in pouch 2004.47.247.
