Skirt
Full length skirt of white silk (?) satin is overlaid with sequin motifs stitched onto white organza; hand and machine stitched; self-fabric apron styled overskirt with red fringe is shaped and drawn up to the waist; wide linen/flax waistband catches both skirt and apron in pleats at side seams and skirt front; decorative red sequins in floral designs with a white sequin centre and orange seed bead tassels are hand stitched along lower hem area of skirt and throughout overskirt; sequin braid trim outlines the skirt and overskirt hemlines; an open slit in the skirt at the waistline is closed with a white cotton tie.
