Blue satin loose-fitting Chinese trousers with applied red fabric vertical stripe at outside leg edge; machine stitched; finished with flat fell type seams; seam at centre line of both front and back legs; cotton yoke at waistline; wide legs joined to yoke and crotch with an angled seam at front and back; bottom of legs are gathered with threaded elastic; 3 safety pins are attached to the yoke with a length of grey grosgrain ribbon; inked inscriptions visible on the yoke include: '48 max', '11/8'.
