Strengths of the collection include Odonata (dragonflies), Macrolepidoptera (butterflies and large moths), Vespidae (yellowjacket and related wasps), Apidae (especially bumble bees), some Coleoptera (beetles—especially Carabidae and Cerambycidae), Hemiptera (at least Heteroptera—true bugs), Orthoptera (grasshoppers and crickets), some Diptera (true flies—at least Asilidae) and Araneae (spiders).
